Netherlands
This reference genome is built from the Genome of the Netherlands (GoNL) Release 5, registered under PRJEB5829, based on whole-genome sequencing of Dutch parent–offspring families sampled nationwide under BBMRI-NL. Dutch genomes cluster within Northwestern Europe with subtle north–south and east–west clines; the Release 5 reference set includes 998 unrelated haplotypes widely used for imputation and Dutch-specific allele-frequency baselines. Here we collapse the study-wide SNP allele counts into a per-locus consensus genotype baseline and use it as a comparative anchor across populations.
